The Culpeper Minutemen is a classic banner of American history and liberty. The famous flag of the Minutemen of Culpeper County, Virginia, like the Gadsden Don't Tread on Me flag, sports the Eastern Rattlesnake coiled defensively, standing its ground against all who might encroach, warning interlopers with its rattle that if they don't watch their step it may be their last.
The interesting thing about the Culpeper, however, is that the Virginia militia's organizer, Patrick Henry, had his most famous quote "Liberty or Death" emblazoned across the front as well.
We've been selling our hand drawn recreation of this classic for many years, but for this shirt we wanted to do something a little different. So we experimented with a lot of different t-shirts to find one that is incredible durable, light weight, and comfortable for the active man. This, and we wanted it to be a fantastic modern shirt that could be worn fashionably under a sport coat and make all Maniacs look like studs.
This premium tee was the result.
These shirts are actually 40 singles ringspun cotton, so they feel incredibly smooth to the touch. Also, the prints come out photo realistic on this blended fabric as the fibers are so close that they act like a high quality canvas for the art. These new styles are one of our favorites, and are perfect for dressing up or down in style and comfort.
