Wear an homage to the revolutionaries banned by the Crown that the “Tavern mongers, wharf rats, and other seedy characters looking to cause trouble” among the Sons of Liberty hung about town. The premium embroidered hoodies feature a Sons of Liberty emblem and the famous Ben Franklin woodcut "Join or Die" rattlesnake cartoon used to illustrate how a divided colonial resistance would perish.
The rattlesnake was a symbol Franklin pushed hard to be the symbol of the new nation of course. He always detested the eagle as a bird of prey and a "foul creature." The Eastern Rattlesnake, however, was a noble creature who peacefully minded its own until provoked, whereby a fair warning was given before delivering a fatal defensive blow.
