  • Jesus Fear Not Women's Racerback Tank

Fear destroys the mind and soul. Possibly the most repeated message from the rebel from Nazareth, Fear Not, is the ultimate - and possibly most difficult - proposition for personal mastery. The willpower to control the instinct of fear in a time of peril or mass hysteria is no small task. Where rage spills into wrath, fear animates cowardice and delusion. It's the ultimate enemy of reason when uncontrolled.

The prints are taken from the original woodcut The Head of Christ Crowned with Thorns we were allowed to copy from the Metropolitan Museum of Art by Sebald Beham - which was originally misattributed to Albrecht Dürer. Dan is a huge devotee of Dürer and has been doing reproductions from the Met for a couple of years. Dan used his reverse print process to take the master print and convert it to a positive relief suitable for dark-colored media. Sebald Beham often used very dark backgrounds in his prints as well, so this is a bit of an homage to his work and the Italian Niello prints which are thought to have been inspired by Sebald's work.

A great message for followers of Christ and non-Christians alike, these Fear Not graphic tees are mean to inspire everyday courage in comfort and style.

This racerback tank is soft, lightweight, and form-fitting with a flattering cut and raw edge seams for an edgy touch.
