The original blue-and-white pattern follows the Continental Army through the Delaware crossing and winter advance toward Trenton in December 1776. Boats, troops, horses, artillery, frozen riverbanks, and bare winter trees are rendered in detailed linework inspired by traditional toile. From a few feet away, it looks like a refined historical textile. Up close, the entire operation unfolds across the trunks.
The water-repellent microfiber shell moves comfortably in and out of the water, while a silky stretch-mesh liner helps prevent chafing. An elastic waistband and drawcord keep the fit secure. Two mesh side pockets handle the usual cargo, and a small interior pocket keeps valuables from joining the Hessians.
