Culpeper Minutemen Don't Tread Me Garment-dyed Heavyweight T-shirt
$25.00 - $27.00
The Culpeper Minutemen is a classic banner of American history and liberty. The famous flag of the Minutemen of Culpeper County, Virginia, like the Gadsden, Don't Tread on Me flag, sports the Eastern Rattlesnake coiled defensively, standing its ground against all who might encroach, warning interlopers of with its rattle that if they don't watch their step it may be their last.
The interesting thing about the Culpeper, however, is that the Virginia militia's organizer, Patrick Henry, had his most famous quote "Liberty or Death" emblazoned across the front as well.
If you’re looking for a thick, structured tee that’s also super soft and breathable—look no further! The men’s garment-dyed heavyweight t-shirt ticks all the boxes and is made of 100% ring-spun cotton. The regular t-shirt style complements most looks and fits you to a tee.
Garment-dyed fabrics are dyed after they have been cut and sewn into garments. This means that the dye can be specifically chosen for each garment, and the dye will not fade or run in the wash. Garment-dyed fabrics are also softer and more comfortable than other types of fabric. It's the most expensive method of coloring shirts but results in a broken-in feel with 99% of the shrinkage taken out in subsequent washes. Otherwise heavier shirts don't have the softness of thinner, tighter weave fabrics.
Another benefit of these shirts is that we use a clean pigment dye process that goes over and above the norm. It's a sustainable process that uses 3X less water, 4X less energy, and doesn't use salt at all like other pigment dying. They're not produced in sweatshops, and as always we only use suppliers that have verifiable humane working conditions.
