    This original blue-and-white toile pattern follows the Continental Army through the frozen landscape of December 1776. Soldiers crowd into Durham boats, artillery moves with the column, and troops advance through the winter countryside toward Trenton. From a distance, it has the refined character of a traditional toile. Up close, one of the American Revolution’s most audacious operations emerges across the shirt.
