Yes, we're green. And no, it’s not because we suddenly found our inner tree sprite. It’s because you asked for it, and frankly, organic cotton feels awesome—and sells like hotcakes. So if we’re going to offer eco-friendly gear, you better believe we’re doing it right.

At Liberty Maniacs, our eco-friendly products meet real, certifiable standards—no greenwashing, no vague “natural vibes,” and definitely no patchouli-scented activism. Just high-quality threads and goods that meet the most respected international benchmarks for organic, recycled, and non-toxic materials.

We source from suppliers that hold one or more of these internationally recognized certifications:

🌿 GOTS – Global Organic Textile Standard
The gold standard for organic textiles. It’s got everything: ecological criteria, social responsibility, and independent third-party audits. GOTS ensures our organic fibers are actually organic—and ethically produced from start to finish.

🌱 OCS – Organic Content Standard
Tracks organic material from source to final product. If it says “organic,” OCS makes sure it actually is.

♻️ GRS – Global Recycled Standard & RCS – Recycled Claim Standard
Both confirm our recycled materials are legit. GRS also throws in checks for ethical processing and limits on sketchy chemicals. Good stuff.

🧼 Ecocert COSMOS (for beauty products)
Ensures our cosmetic goods are natural, non-GMO, and free of the usual petroleum-based junk. Most Ecocert products are 99% natural origin. We’ll take it.

🧪 OEKO-TEX® Certified
No toxic chemicals, no nonsense. OEKO-TEX® guarantees the safety of textiles and inks from start to stitch. Even our embroidery thread is OEKO-TEX® certified.

What’s in the Stuff?

Our eco-friendly apparel collection features products made with at least 70% organic or recycled materials. For some items, it’s even more.

And we don’t just “trust our suppliers.” We require documentation. Every product with an eco claim has a corresponding certification—GOTS, OCS, GRS, RCS, or Ecocert—on file.

How We Ship It

All apparel orders are shipped in post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic mailers. Depending on the print location, your outer mailer is at least 50% recycled, and any inner bags are at least 30%. That means we’re turning old water bottles and grocery bags into armor for your merch.

What happens to damaged returns?

Damaged goods get shipped to Geocycle and Martex to be recycled, beginning their journey yet again.
