The U.S. Woodland camouflage pattern became the standard for NATO and American forces for decades. It was bold, disruptive, and instantly recognizable. We took that legacy and gave it a new form by translating the design into a heavyweight knit sweater.
The Woodland Knit Field Sweater is built for both fashion and function. It has the blocky, high-contrast pattern that soldiers, hunters, and outdoorsmen know well, but it’s woven into a soft, breathable knit that works far beyond the field.
These sweaters aren’t mass produced. Each one is made in small batches, knitted to hold up under use, and finished to move easily between everyday wear and hard use outdoors. As sportsmen, we always wanted something that could work in a deer stand or at the bar afterward. So we teamed up with a group of young technologists and pattern obsessives to bring this idea into reality.
It’s a piece of military history reimagined as knitwear. A sweater tough enough for the woods and sharp enough for the city.

To keep your knit sweater looking sharp and fitting perfectly, machine wash cool (85-105°F) inside-out on a delicate cycle with similar colors. Use a gentle detergent and avoid bleach or fabric softeners.
Pro Tip for Knitwear: Lay flat to dry to prevent stretching and preserve the intricate jacquard weave. Minor shrinkage may occur after the first wash.
Wash: Machine wash cool inside-out (30–40°C / 85–105°F) on a gentle cycle with like colors.
Detergent: Use mild detergent. Do not use chlorine bleach or fabric softeners.
Dry: Lay flat to dry for best results and to maintain garment shape. Tumble dry on low heat only if necessary.
Iron: Cool iron inside-out if needed. Do not dry clean.
These handmade jacquard knits are only available at Liberty Maniacs and were design by Dan McCall as limited editions. They are currently manufactured in China from Dan's patterns and shipped factory direct.
