Developed through Bundeswehr trials beginning in the 1970s and introduced into service in 1991, the classic five-color pattern groups small, irregular spots into larger shapes that disrupt the wearer’s outline in temperate woodland.
The Flecktarn Reconnaissance Camo Zip Hoodie brings that densely layered pattern to a substantial everyday garment. From a distance, it reads as rich woodland texture. Up close, olive, dark green, rust brown, black, and light green break across the entire hoodie, with black hardware providing a clean finish.
The exterior has a smooth, cotton-like feel, while brushed fleece keeps the inside soft and warm. A relaxed unisex fit, drop shoulders, double-lined hood, and full front zipper make it an easy layer for cold weather, field work, or observing civilian life from a tactically sensible distance.
