Take the High Ground.
In 2014, federal agents moved to seize Cliven Bundy’s cattle near Bunkerville, Nevada. Ranchers, supporters, and armed citizens showed up. The standoff ended with the BLM backing down and releasing the cattle.
The fight moved to court. Bundy, his sons, and several supporters were later arrested and prosecuted. In 2018, the federal case against Cliven Bundy was dismissed with prejudice after the court found serious government misconduct involving withheld evidence.
The Bundy Land Management Co. tee remembers one of the strangest chapters in the modern American West: cattle, federal land, armed standoffs, and a government case that collapsed under its own weight.
