What the hell is an oligarchy you ask? It's what the dictionary calls a small group of people that control a country. And this group of rich elites don't much like to share power. In fact, over the years they've gotten pretty good at refining the rules, making the whole game a theater of sorts. An illusionist show with smoke and mirrors, and the public picking cards out of the deck ever few years just to give the impression that there's some interaction going on. You know, you need a little audience participation.
But don't be a dummy. This system isn't broken. It's a fixed game.
It's why in 2014 when we made this shirt, it wasn't long before the millionaire lawyers of presidential candidates came calling to shut us down. And they would have if it wasn't for real public servants like our lawyer that believed in silly things like free speech; taking them to federal court. (They backed down this time, with minutes to spare before the Federal autofiling system dragged them into court.)
