Tiger stripe went from the jungles of Southeast Asia to the cardigan rack without losing its teeth.
The pattern evolved in South Vietnam from French lizard-style camouflage and became closely associated with South Vietnamese troops and American special operations forces during the Vietnam War. Its slashing black shapes and broken green field made it one of the most recognizable camouflage families ever produced.
Our version knits that pattern directly into a soft cotton-poly jacquard cardigan. The design is part of the fabric, not a print sitting on top of it. Solid olive ribbing at the collar, cuffs, and hem gives the whole glorious contradiction some discipline.

Care and appearance:
Individual colors may appear slightly different in person than on screen. The cardigan may shrink slightly after its first wash. For best results, follow the care label and wash at 30 to 40°C.

To keep your knit sweater looking sharp and fitting perfectly, machine wash cool (85-105°F) inside-out on a delicate cycle with similar colors. Use a gentle detergent and avoid bleach or fabric softeners.
Pro Tip for Knitwear: Lay flat to dry to prevent stretching and preserve the intricate jacquard weave. Minor shrinkage may occur after the first wash.
Wash: Machine wash cool inside-out (30–40°C / 85–105°F) on a gentle cycle with like colors.
Detergent: Use mild detergent. Do not use chlorine bleach or fabric softeners.
Dry: Lay flat to dry for best results and to maintain garment shape. Tumble dry on low heat only if necessary.
Iron: Cool iron inside-out if needed. Do not dry clean.
These handmade jacquard knits are only available at Liberty Maniacs and were design by Dan McCall as limited editions. They are currently manufactured in China from Dan's patterns and shipped factory direct.
