Based on the rare 1972 prototype desert camo developed by Natick Labs, this shirt brings Cold War weirdness into the modern age. Before “chocolate chip” became iconic in the Gulf, this pattern was stashed in military closets—featuring a surprising hint of light green, and designed for Middle Eastern environments the Pentagon was already side-eying.
This camo was never supposed to look this good. But we redrew it anyway. Dan painstakingly recreated the 1972 pattern from an original USAF flight jacket—digitized and revived with every imperfect fleck, swirl, and sun-faded hue left intact.
The result? A subversively sleek polo that looks just polished enough to get past security… until they notice the pattern.
