This Scott Woodbury design was inspired by the William Engdahl book Myths Lies and Oil Wars. From the designer:
There are of course those in this world who believe themselves to be the “handlers” of power and a grip they must maintain is the main source of energy that currently runs our planet, oil. From the cold war to the war on terror we know today Oil has been at the center of the reasons given for the United States and its NATO allies to have “boots on the ground” in Africa and the Middle East in general. Is Oil really the scarce resource that we have been led to believe it is, or is this just another example of giant corporate interests along with a handful of Wall Street banks making the world dependent on something they continue to own? Henry Kissinger the ever-expanding Jabba the Hut of US diplomacy in world politics once said, “If you control the oil, you control entire nations. If you control the food, you control the people. If you control the money, you control the entire world.” Control is what these oligarchs like Kissinger (a supposed purveyor of peace) use to control governments, the military industrial complex, and geo-political institutions like NATO and the United Nations (UN) for, to draw more blood with tanks of war to create and maintain their grip with the Oiligarchy.
